Grotto Re-Opens for 2021

Finally! After nearly six months of closure the Grotto will be re-opening on 19th May. Initially, we'll be open Wednesday to Sunday, 10am to 5pm.


Pre-booking is essential - even if you're a Friend of the Grotto - and we did sell out most days last year... We will be releasing tickets three weeks in advance, and we'd advise you to book your visit as early as you can.

IN MEMORY:
CHRIS PEARSON

We're incredibly saddened by the death of Chris Pearson, who has died at the age of 68. Chris served as an archivist for both the Shell Grotto and Margate Caves.
