These shells go by a number of names - screws, towers, augers and in the shop we hear lots of children calling them unicorn shells - for obvious reasons! A thin, slightly rough and unpolished shell, colours range through brown, tan, cream and white.
We sell these distinctive gastropods in groups of 3 for £3.75.
Typically measure from 8cm to 9cm long - the tips are usually blunted. Colours and sizes will vary; these are natural shells and the photograph is of typical examples, not the shells you will receive. If you have any particular requests in terms of colour or size, please pop them in the notes - we’ll do our best to find the shell that comes closest to what you want!
