Halloween at the Grotto

We’re open every day through Half Term, 10am to 5pm.


BEWARE THE GHOSTS OF THE GROTTO…

MONDAY 27TH TO FRIDAY 31ST OCTOBER


As well as being part of The Dreamland Trust’s Spooky Margate Ghost Trail, we also have our own ghostly goings on. Hunt out the letters in the depths of the Grotto to reveal the identity of our mysterious spirit, said to wander the passageways. Post your answer in the Haunted Postbox to enter the Prize draw to win a copy of Lemony Snicket’s The Grim Grotto and free entry to our own (not so grim) Grotto for your family for a year.

CHRIS PEARSON

We're incredibly saddened by the death of Chris Pearson, who has died at the age of 68. Chris served as an archivist for both the Shell Grotto and Margate Caves.
