Halloween and Harvest at Half Term

Kids Go Free at the spooky Grotto from 28 October to 1 November! Pre-booking here.


The shop, museum room and Grotto will be decorated with Harvest or Halloween themes, and we'll be running kids' competitions over on Insta, Facebook and Twitter, with the chance to win free entry for a year.


We'll also be welcoming trick or treaters at the front door - form a nicely distanced queue please! - on 31 October, from 4pm to 5pm. Thought trick or treating was cancelled? No way! We're working with our fiendish friends at the Margate Caves to give your little ones some much-needed Covid-safe treats!

Be careful though... the Grotto Witch can be a little bit scary!

IN MEMORY:
CHRIS PEARSON

We're incredibly saddened by the death of Chris Pearson, who has died at the age of 68. Chris served as an archivist for both the Shell Grotto and Margate Caves.
