Vintage Poster Sale
We’ve made an exciting discovery! We’ve found 25 original Shell Grotto posters, dating back to the late 1980s – and we’re selling them to fund three new roundels in the Grotto.
The posters measure 10×12.5in, are all in near mint condition, obviously unused, and are printed on lightweight card. This is the poster that appears in the Only Fools and Horses Jolly Boys Outing episode (1989).

The posters are £30 with £3.99 postage and packing. The Roundel Project was established in 2012 to recreate 100 missing mosaic roundels – so far, with sponsorship from visitors and the Friends of the Shell Grotto, plus our conservator Rob Smith’s expert help, we have completed 23. Sales of the poster will fund the restoration of these three roundels, below, which sit in the Serpentine Passage. Don’t forget, current Friends can visit whenever they want to see the progress we are making!
