Museum Metamorphosis
A collaboration with the Museum of British Folklore has resulted in a transformation in the way the Grotto is interpreted.
Simon Costin worked with the Grotto to re-design and curate the museum room, creating an atmospheric and informative new space. “We’re really proud of it,” says Sarah Vickery, owner of the Grotto. “And we owe a debt of thanks to everyone who helped us.”
The Friends of the Shell Grotto contributed to the cost of refurbishment and the Friends’ Archivist, Chris Pearson, put in many hours of research to ensure the accuracy of all the new information.
