Handmade English pewter oyster shell bowl, with a mussel spoon. Beautifully textured and adeal for salt, mustard, sugar or sauces.

Oysters are strongly linked with Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of love and beauty. They symbolise eternal love, as Aphrodite emerged from the sea on the back of an oyster shell.

Every Glover and Smith piece is handmade from polished, solid lead-free pewter which is non-tarnishing (that was the lead in old pewter) and completely nickel-free.

Our oyster shell bowl is 10 m (3.9”) long and the mussel spoon is 11cm (4.3”) long. It is presented gift boxed. To clean, simply wash with warm soapy water.
