Grotto Features in Artist's Film

The Shell Grotto has been filmed by artist Dorothy Cross, and features in her new show at Turner Contemporary. Cross’s work is inspired by the natural world, and this show reflects on the surroundings of her home in Connemara, while drawing connections to the gallery’s coastal location in Margate. Two newly-commissioned videos explore a rarely accessible sea cave near Cross’s home, while another swims through our own Grotto. Dorothy Cross: Connemara is on display until 5 January 2014.
